In order to maintain academic integrity and prevent academic misconduct, the Chinese Journal of Cancer hereby issues a statement regarding fund review.
(1) Submission of fund certificate materials: When submitting manuscripts, authors must provide fund certificate materials, including but not limited to official approval letters and project establishment notices issued by funding agencies. These materials must clearly display key information such as the fund name, project number, funding institution, project leader, funding amount, funding duration, and the research content of the fund.
(2) Content of fund review:
-Review whether the fund name and project number in the manuscript match those in the fund certificate materials.
-Review whether the project leader or participants are authors of the manuscript.
-Review whether the submission date falls within the funding duration.
-Review whether the research content of the fund is related to the content of the manuscript.
(3) Handling principles: If fund certificate materials cannot be provided, or if the fund certificate materials indicate that the project leader or participants are not authors of the manuscript, the submission date exceeds the funding duration, or the research content of the fund is unrelated to the content of the manuscript, authors will be advised to remove the fund reference to ensure that all articles published in this journal are based on authentic and relevant fund support.
