Description

The journal of China Oncology (ISSN 1007-3639, CN 31-1727/R) started in 1991, is a peer-reviewed monthly publication, integrating scientific information from global sources for all oncologic specialties. It is an open access monthly published journal in Chinese and English. The competent authorities of China Oncology is the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. China Oncology is hosted by one of the most prestigious comprehensive cancer centers, the Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center. China Oncology mainly reports on cutting-edge research in the field of scientific information from global sources across all oncologic specialties, focusing on the latest research results in clinical, basic, and translational oncology, and featuring research articles, editorial comments, reviews, guidelines, and case reports. China Oncology promotes the exchange of research achievements in the field of oncology in China, improves the level of cancer prevention and treatment, promotes the Healthy China strategy, and provides a platform for academic exchange and presentation for authors and readers.

Aims and scope

As a leading comprehensive oncology journal in China, the objective of China Oncology is to provide an interdisciplinary forum for the exchange of information among oncologic disciplines.

China Oncology achieves this objective by publishing original research contents on basic medicine, clinical medicine, epidemiology, etc., with the columns of research articles, editorial comments, review, guidelines and case report.  In addition, China Oncology also publishes special themed issues that present solicited review articles of current interest authored by globally recognized clinical oncologists and scientists. The special themed issues are published at least 2 times annually.
