摘要: 肿瘤干细胞理论认为肿瘤起源于小部分具有干细胞特性的肿瘤细胞。乳腺癌干细胞是乳腺癌细胞中极少数具有自我更新、多向分化潜能和高致瘤性的细胞亚群,与乳腺癌复发、侵袭转移、放化疗抵抗及上皮间质转化(epithelial-mesenchymal transition,EMT)等密切相关。就近年来乳腺癌干细胞的研究进展予以综述。

Abstract: The cancer stem cell theory suggests that cancer develops from a subset of tumor cells that possess characteristics of stem cells. Breast cancer stem cells comprise a sub-population, which possesses the capacity of selfrenewal and the potential for differentiation and high tumorigenicity. Evidence from both in vitro and in vivo studies demonstrates breast cancer stem cells are responsible for tumor relapse, invasion and metastasis, chemo- and radioresistance and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). Herein, this review highlighted the recent advances in breast cancer stem cells.
