Abstract

Abstract: Metastasis is one of the main complaints of nasopharyngeal carcinoma. After radiotherapy and chemotherapy, residual and recurrent lymph nodes in the neck are still partially seen. Neck dissection is an important salvage treatment to improve survival and life quality. The present review summarizes the distribution of residual and recurrent lymph nodes, the applications of different salvage surgeries and outcomes.
